On August 3, 2017, I perform a slow walk along Karl-Müller-Weg, from outside the Müller’sches Volksbad (Munich Public Baths), past the outdoor café, along the Isar River and through the underpass of Rosenheimer Str. at Ludwigsbrücke.
From the data I record, I create the slow walk video Karl-Müller-Weg_20170803, which features conversations, bell tolling, passing cyclists, sirens, the roar of the Isar and the graffiti in the underpass.
The performance-walk occurs simultaneously with the group show Overflow–Müller’sches Volksbad, which includes my installation Slow Walk Down Starzenbach, Feldafing, Bavaria.. Cornelia Oßwald-Hoffmann (curator) and Carlotta Brunetti (fellow artist) document my performance-walk in video and photographs.

The performance-walk and Karl-Müller-Weg_20170803 are outputs I create whilst artist in residence at Villa Waldberta, Feldafing, Germany (July–Sept 2017). The residency is sponsored by the City of Munich, and for it I am supported by the Australian Government, through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body.
